What kind of youth worker wears a tie? Maybe it’s love at first sight There’s something about this guy It’s true, I’ve fallen for your smile, Your big hair and crazy style. But it’s just not right For you are a married man. I’m gonna fly away Maybe we shouldn’t talk You’ve got to try again To make your marriage work Every Friday, out for a date Every Friday, I ask to stay Every Friday, just us alone Every Friday, she says no Heard news while I was away Two years since we talked If you want to try again Meet me September fourth On that Friday, out for the date On that Friday, I wait and wait On that Friday, sat there alone On that Friday, he never showed He never got the letter, never got the letter He was in Tweed Heads Will you marry me Will you marry me Will you marry me Three times asking finally she said yes
2.
You are barely yourself, oh my love Since you came home you sleep all day Even when you’re awake Will you ever return to how you were? I have faith, but all the while I carry our child I don’t mind If we got to wait for all time I lost them, they’re gone Nineteen weeks, it’s hard to fathom But you can’t stay, they’re removing a clot from your brain Now they’re cutting you open, may God help you through I’m Grieving on both sides And I just wanna talk to you I just wanna talk to you I don’t mind If we got to wait for all time I don’t care If we got to take the long way there

Playing on the floor with Lenore I don’t remember, help me remember Child’s games are really hard I don’t want to be one of these Angry and bitter, there is no winner I’m thankful to be alive I don’t mind they took a chunk of my brain At the time they said I wouldn’t live the day Moving beds around, write it down Don’t lose the patient, can’t lose the patient Hospitals are really big Jenny had a dream, what’d it mean? She said it was vivid, high definition Was it just a normal dream? I don’t mind they took a chunk of my brain At the time they said I wouldn’t live the day The promise of love is a light in the distance This is the price of the life we were gifted Was it just a dream Jenny said it’s the girl from her dream

about

Bromham Adelaide, Australia

Bromham is more of a musical community than a band, a group made up of friends they’ve met along the way, and it shows. Their joy for music and life (and a little bit of silliness) is tangible and infectious as these 14 (or so) musicians all bring their own influences and unique instruments together in a remarkably cohesive and natural way in order to tell stories about their family, friends. ... more
