about

“With all due respect” is about challenging our culture’s perception of what it means to “be a man”. The song expresses frustration and embarrassment towards a culture that says that objectifying women is just part of being a man, then halfway through presents a shift in thinking that says that being a man is loving, accepting and learning from all people and does not involve the objectification of ANYONE! Testosterone is not an excuse for viewing human beings as only objects of lust.

lyrics

So we think we have come far, Still hear things that make me pause.
Sometimes I'm embarrassed to be a man.

All alone the front yard, finding these feelings a cause.
Sometimes I'm embarrassed to be a man.

Bodies, Objects, No thought of a human soul.
We can go without you, We can go without you.

You ain't no man. You ain't no man to me.
You ain't no man. You ain't no man at all.

about

Bromham Adelaide, Australia

Bromham is more of a musical community than a band, a group made up of friends they’ve met along the way, and it shows. Their joy for music and life (and a little bit of silliness) is tangible and infectious as these 14 (or so) musicians all bring their own influences and unique instruments together in a remarkably cohesive and natural way in order to tell stories about their family, friends. ... more
